10 Years ago toady, June 9th 2010, our respiratory clinical trials unit was officially opened by Olympic swimmer Sharron Davies MBE.
The unit was formerly the Children's Outpatient department at Nottingham City Hospital and was transformed into our state of the art clinical trials unit using funding from our NIHR Biomedical Research Unit Award in 2008 and project managed and designed by Professor Tim Harrison.
Our senior Research nurse Liz Dark says a few words of thanks to all our research volunteers and staff over the past 10 years.
