Exciting new research will be starting soon at the University of Nottingham using the Hyperpolarised Imaging Lung Facility at the School of Medicine at Queens Medical Centre.
Using a new technique, researchers will collect MRI images of the lung from healthy volunteers and also from people with lung disease. They will then compare these images to learn whether this technique could be used clinically in the future.
