Asthma UK have previously reported that many people diagnosed with asthma may not actually have it and may be taking medication unnecessarily.
Professor Tim Harrison and our asthma research team of Karen, Nicky and Clair are looking to see if a simple breath test can improve the diagnosis and treatment of asthma in people who only use a blue inhaler, such as Ventolin or Salamol.
